Job Responsibilities
- To assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project and site matters including administration from project conception to project completion and CCC.
- To assist the Project Manager in all aspects of authority matters, other private and government agencies as well as consultants on the status of submissions, approvals, etc.
- To coordinate with consultants, contractors, and relevant parties at all stages of project management for on-time project delivery.
- To assist in monitoring field work to ensure compliance with the Group’s standards, requirements, procedures, and specifications.
- To prepare periodical progress reports for updates to the manager.
- To handle project administration matters including meeting arrangements, minutes taking, drafting/preparation of letters, etc.
- To collate relevant data, information, and documents for the preparation of necessary reports.
- To manage and upkeep good filing systems for project documents i.e., AI, EI, documents, plans, etc. for easy retrieval.
- To attend to site inspections as and when required.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as may be directed from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in the construction industry and preferably with at least 3 years of experience with property developer.
- Articulate and proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Both written and spoken Mandarin is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, project management tools and software.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of construction and development processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Pleasant disposition, resourceful, meticulous, and able to multi-task to take on additional responsibilities to grow beyond core role.
