Lee Yee Looi

Independent Non-Executive Director

Ms. Lee holds a Bachelor of Business in International Business Management and Human Resource Management from Charles Sturt University, Australia (2001).

 

She began her career in 2001 at Patimas Computers Berhad, before taking on roles at Crest Systems (M) Sdn Bhd and Ann Joo Steel Berhad, where she gained experience in procurement, contract management, and corporate administration.

 

In 2015, she joined Kinergy Advancement Berhad as Human Resource Manager and rose to General Manager, contributing to the group’s IPO on the ACE Market and its subsequent transfer to the Main Market. She also led the group’s ESG initiatives as Head of Sustainability since 2021.

 

In October 2024, she was appointed Chief Compliance Officer of Avangaad Berhad, overseeing HR, corporate affairs, internal audit, risk, and governance, while advising on sustainability. In 2025, she established Nexxa Corporate Training and Services PLT, focusing on ESG and corporate training.

Wong Shou Sien

Independent Non-Executive Director

 

Ms. Wong holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Kent, United Kingdom (1992), and a Master of Laws from King’s College, University of London (1995). She was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Middle Temple) and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

 

Ms. Wong began her legal career at Raja, Darryl & Loh and subsequently joined Wong & Partners. She later returned to Raja, Darryl & Loh as a Partner before founding Shou & Partners, where she currently serves as Partner.

 

She has extensive experience advising both start-ups and established entities on corporate structuring, shareholders’ arrangements, funding agreements, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

 

Ms. Wong regularly advises on the commercialisation, licensing, and transfer of intellectual property across a wide range of industries. She also provides training and counsel on regulatory compliance, including anti-corruption and anti-money laundering laws.

Tam Kok Meng

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr. Tam holds professional qualifications from the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), of which he has been a member since 1994, and is a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 1995. He also holds auditor and liquidator licences issued under the Companies Act 2016.

 

Mr. Tam began his professional career at Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad / Arthur Andersen, where he gained extensive experience in statutory audits, profit forecasts, and acquisition audits. He subsequently held senior finance and internal audit positions across various organisations.

 

He commenced his public practice career in 1997 as a Partner at Razalee & Co, and in 2001 founded Tam & Associates (now Tam & Associates PLT), where he continues to serve as Partner. In 2024, he further expanded his professional footprint by establishing Ooi Tam & Associates PLT, an insolvency and advisory firm.

 

In addition, Mr. Tam founded Bridge Corporate Management Sdn Bhd in 2002, together with several related service entities, through which he provides a comprehensive range of professional services.

Datuk Mohd Yusof Bin Alwi

Independent Non-Executive Chairman

Datuk Mohd Yusof Bin Alwi holds a Master of Science in Fire Science from the University of New Haven, USA (1991).

 

A registered Building Engineer, Datuk Mohd Yusof is a Fellow of The Institution of Surveyors Malaysia, a distinction he has held since 1996. He was also a member of the National Advisory Committee of the World Organization of Building Officials (USA), reflecting his engagement with international standards and best practices in the built environment.

 

Datuk Mohd Yusof began his public service career in 1978 with Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), where he served for over three decades in progressively senior roles. His tenure culminated in his appointment as Director of the Building Control Department in 2005, a position he held until his retirement from public service in 2011.

 

With more than 45 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in building control, regulatory compliance, and safety standards, underpinned by a distinguished career dedicated to strengthening governance and oversight within Malaysia’s public sector.
